Sunday Muddy Sunday

alrighty it's sunday and a hectic weekend ensued!!!  for the last few days I've been *fighting* to keep my PH up... silly me....  this afternoon I did a manual test and found out my PH meter was off in calibration by nearly one point!!!  ugh... so a little vinegar and all seems better.

I spotted the two Nassarius juveniles in the test tank, excellent dealio!!  so now there are 8 adults and two juveniles, cant wait to track and see how this one goes, if the adults will only give me an egg capsule.  Spent most of yesterday helping a friend set up a brand new 28 gallon nano, we seeded with rock and water from my system (2nd 30 gallon water change in two days!!).  so my tank should be happy for the freshness.  Fired up an empty section with water and I'm running near full capacity again.  I have extra rock drying in the garage and it's soon time to bulk up for some rock curing.

Gorgonians are stoked as the excess rotifer cultures are now getting dripped into the system at 150ml per hour via the enteral pumps, pipes and everything else are doing well.  And we moved the clowns from their fry tank to the main system for grow out.  Seems mamma and papa set out a clutch of eggs friday, which is a great mix up as I was getting tired of sunday / monday night hatches, I can handle friday / saturday.

Cultures are doing alright, need to shuffle my split schedule again as a few are growing too fast and some too slow, such is life... shuffling ensues.

and that I think is that, I keep pondering flipping out the dual 125w metal halides over the top experimentation tank with a simple twin tube NO flourescent as I really dont need the light.  Would be nice to drop the wattage not to mention gain the space and drop the temp.  I'll keep thinking on that.
