Of wasting time with much to do

Printer-friendly versionPDF version

This morning I set out quite early with a well defined task list.  After several hours of crunching out work despite the hundreds of interruptions I finally gave up.

So now I'm updating my blog, had to happen sometime!!  Much is going on in copepod labs currently, most of which would spawn very very long conversations or information.  My clownfish babies are doing good, though the last batch hatched last saturday did not make it past one of my little "pre meta experiments".  Chalk it up to being a clown killer I guess.  Unfortunately ma and pa have deviated from their schedule in a big way.  I might need to shift their environment around again as they seem to just not be happy with places to lay the eggs.

In any case, the pipefish I received a little while back are now taking prepared foods, this is a blessing and a curse as now every time I go to feed the tubastrea I have to fend off two pipefish.  Cute to watch though!

I will be going to MACNA this year and am looking forward to it, for ReefStock this month I'm not sure if I'll be able to make it.  Funny how that works, I'll be able to squeeze a trip to Orlando in, but an hour and a half drive up the road to Denver will hose me.  Ugh.

I will be setting up some monoculture tanks for these snails within the coming weeks, this first run of study has told me a lot!!  one of those items is that I absolutely have to get a dedicated system for them so that I can properly count and manage their examination.  Fun stuff!

So thats basically the gist, as I sit here waiting to step into a staff meeting I decided to take a quick few to update everyone on how things are going.  Much fun.
